Corbely began in April 2026 as a single well-built workspace — accounts, roles, permissions, audit trails. The foundation turned out to be the interesting part: once a workspace could hold any kind of work and any kind of member, the question became what work most needs it.
The answer was property. UK renting runs on disconnected software: the landlord has a system, the tenant has a phone number, the contractor has a diary. Every repair crosses all three and belongs to none of them. So we built the property record home-first — useful for anyone who owns a home, with rentals as a layer that switches on — and a business workspace for the trades on the other side of every job. Where it is going: a property’s record that keeps itself. Run a home or a let through Corbely and the proof builds up as you go — the certificates, the repairs, who did what and when — ready for a tenant, a regulator, an insurer, or the next owner. Next on the list is shaping that record to the national property logbook standard, so it can be handed on when a home changes hands.

Property software talks to landlords and gives everyone else a phone number. Corbely gives every party — tenant, landlord, contractor — their own login and their own view, and connects them where the work actually crosses.
Stakeholder seats are free
Charging tenants, or charging a contractor to receive a landlord’s job, kills the connection. The people you work with never pay to work with you.
